Food Allergies at YoYo

November 25, 2014 YoYo-Blog

We at YoYo like to think we have the best burgers in Bristol, made from only the freshest and finest ingredients. Sometimes the products we use contain one or more of the 14 food allergens.  As from December 2014 all food establishments will need to make sure we keep our customers in the loop about these 14 food allergens.

YoYo Burger products may contain some of the fourteen major allergens which are:

  • Cereals containing gluten
  • Crustaceans, for example prawns, crabs, lobster and crayfish
  • Eggs
  • Fish
  • Peanuts
  • Soybeans
  • Milk
  • Nuts, such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, pecan nuts, Brazil nuts, pistachio, cashew and macadamia (Queensland) nuts
  • Celery (and celeriac)
  • Mustard
  • Sesame
  • Sulphur dioxide, which is a preservative found in some dried fruit
  • Lupin
  • Molluscs, for example clams, mussels, whelks, oysters, snails and squid

Please ask our staff if you have any questions or for more information please have a look at – http://www.food.gov.uk/sites/default/files/top-allergy-types.pdf.

Love, the YoYo team.
